Mano's Hands, a Mano Boozer!

One of the most transcendental musical bars is Mano's Place, founded in 1976 ,after an advertising campaign promoted by the owner in the United Kingdom during the 80s.It was the most picturesque bar of the area, the barmen were authentic jugglers; they used real ducks to joke with customers, as well as masks, snakes, gum clubs and all kinds of jokes. Enrique, one of the managers of the time, was juggling with 14 or 15 glasses stacked on his nose, he threw trays that came back and served the tables on roller skates. Moreover, the waiters labeled the majority of the girls in the chest with a sticker of the bar.

One of its peculiarities was that most visitors left a message on a card or paper that was pinned to the ceiling with a thumbtack, it covered the whole ceiling. On their screens videos of high erotic content were shown, mixed with all kinds of sports videos and humorous videos. The establishment offered a full range of accessories for sale, including videos, music CDs, sweaters, caps, hip bags, sun glasses, .. It contained an area with pool tables and amusement machines. The two rooms and the terraces, hosted some 600 people, which chose Mano's as the place to start the night. With the new law on noise pollution , in the decade of 2000, ,the bar had to be completely renovated and soundproofed. It was converted into a crowded disco,but it lost its true identity that catapulted it to fame. In 2008 it remains one of the favorite meeting points in Magalluf.

Magalluf has a large presence of police and civil protection 24 hours on 24 hours, trying to maintain the order and to ensure the safety of its citizens and visitors. There is a multitude of first aid centres and medical emergencies, as well as a big cleaning infrastructure ,which maintains the streets, sidewalks and beaches in perfect condition for the enjoyment of tourists.

The festivities take place from the 10^th of August until the 15^th of August and from the 31^st of August until the 3^rd of September.

Tom Brown's, chicken steak & Inns

It is worth to mention the chain of typical English restaurants, Tom Brown's, where most of the staff are British, and where you can taste all kinds of specialties typical of the English cuisine , the Ploughman's lunch, the Steak pie , the Sunday lunch or by its original name, Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, which must always be included ;besides the popular Apple Pie (Just like mum makes) . The majority of non-British visitors do agree that Magalluf appears like a small part of the United Kingdom in Spain.
